I was born and raised in Lahore, Pakistan. After moving to the United States, I earned a BA in marketing and MA in Journalism & Public Affairs from American University in Washington D.C. I am currently working as a Congressional reporter for Federal Computer Week, previously worked as a Multi-Media Journalist for the CBS affiliate, WUSA-9 in Washington. In addition, I was a Correspondent for Thomson Reuters and have been published in various media outlets such as USA Today and The New York Times. I also have experience working for a Fortune 500 commercial real estate company.

Spoke at the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security - September 30th, 2010.  Discussed Pakistan: The Inside Perspective. 

First screening of my documentary on Pakistan took place August 22nd, 2010 in Washington, DC.  

Traveled to Aspen, CO in June 2010 on the basis of a merit scholarship to attend The Aspen Security Forum.

Travelled to Pakistan in December 2009 to work on a documentary about ordinary Pakistani’s living with terror, “Pakistan: Inside the Tinderbox”.
